President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson visits the Fletcher School at Tufts University, a graduate school of international affairs, to attend a conference where he will be the opening speaker.

The Fletcher School is an established academic institution in the United States and one of the oldest graduate schools of international affairs, a program recognized worldwide.
The president, who is referred to as the Dalai Lama of the Arctic on posters advertising the event, will address the conference, The Arctic: A New Model for Global Cooperation, when it commences tomorrow, Monday March 26.
The president’s office told Rúv.is the reference to Dalai Lama does not come from the president’s headquarters.
