U.S. actor Charlie Sheen was in Iceland yesterday. The former star of comedy series Two and a Half Men was spotted having sushi at Ósushi on Pósthússtræti in downtown Reykjavík and shopping in Kringlan shopping mall.
“He was really nice,” Anna Þorsteinsdóttir, one of the restaurant’s owners, told visir.is. “He was very friendly towards the staff … allowing them to take pictures of him. He had a good appetite and was satisfied with the food.”
Anna said Sheen had asked the staff where one can have a good night out in Reykjavík and they recommended the clubs B5 and Dolly. “He was just looking for a place to have fun on a Sunday night. He had this prankster look on his face and a special glint in his eyes.”
According to mbl.is, Sheen went shopping in the mall Kringlan yesterday, buying a bag and two t-shirts in Gallerí Sautján, as confirmed by one of the store’s employees.
Sheen visited Iceland last at Easter, taking a dip in the Blue Lagoon. Upon departing the country on his private jet, he tweeted: “adios Reykjavik! thank u for the tundra like bone chills and the undying hospitality beware of volcano attacks!”
