Icelandic hobby photographer Katrín Þóra Bragadóttir says she will sue Kanye West’s stylist after a photograph of hers was used on a Pyrex Vision t-shirt, a brand owned by Kanye West’s stylist Virgil Abloh, without her permission.

The photograph, taken about two years ago, is reportedly of Katrín’s friend Bryndís. Katrín claims the photograph was taken from her Flickr page and placed on Tumblr, from where she says Abloh must have seen it. According to Katrín, the t-shirts are being sold for USD 85 (EUR 65).
“I have contacted a lawyer to see what my position is in the matter,” Katrín told visir.is, who added that it was Bryndís who first saw the t-shirt online. “She thinks it is quite nice and of course funny too,” Katrín said.
Katrín told visir.is, that it is an honor to have a rapper as famous as Kanye West wear her image but that she still considers it theft and intends to pursue the matter.
