Christopher Nolan and his crew have wrapped up filming for his latest movie Interstellar in South Iceland after a two-week stay in the country. Nolan and his team left Iceland for Los Angeles, where filming is set to continue, on Saturday, ruv.is reports.
All hotels in the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, where the team was based, were fully booked and some of the town’s inhabitants leased their houses to the film crew. Summer house owners in the region did the same.
Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey were among the cast to take part in the shoot.
