Páll Óskar to Perform at Living Art Museum

Pop singer Páll Óskar Hjálmtýsson will perform at the Living Art Museum (Nýlistasafnið) today at 3 pm in connection with the exhibition “Fjölskylduskemmtun” (“Family Fun”) by Curver Thoroddsen, which ends tomorrow, April 29.

The exhibition, which includes playground equipment and a bouncing castle, has proven very popular. This weekend, scouts will sell hotdogs, candy floss and other treats. Admission is free and all are welcome.

As for other performances, the operatic department of Sigurður Demetz’ Song School will stage operas by Bellini at the old Tjarnarbíó cinema by the Reykjavík Pond this weekend.

Advanced students of Kristján Jóhannsson, Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir (Diddú), Gunnar Guðbjörnsson and Auður Gunnarsdóttir will perform at 8 pm tonight. Tickets are available on midi.is.
