Ridley Scott Movie Trailer Shot in Iceland
A trailer from the upcoming science fiction movie Prometheus, from director Ridley Scott, was premiered last Saturday, visir.is reports.
The movie was partly shot in Iceland around Dettifoss waterfall, among other locations. The film is rumored to be a prequel to Alien, one of the director’s most famous movies. The leading characters are played by Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender and Guy Pierce. The movie is scheduled to be premiered later this year, mbl.is reports.

One of the last tasks of Steingrímur J. Sigfússon while in office as minister of industries and innovation was to issue a regulation on Monday extending the reserve for whales in Faxaflói bay, off Reykjavík in Southwest Iceland. The regulation took affect at midnight.
