No formal discussion has taken place between the Icelandic and British governments following the presentation of a new research regarding a possible construction of a sea cable from Iceland to Europe, mbl.is reports.
The Ministry of Industries and Innovation has submitted the report to Alþingi, Iceland’s parliament. There, it will soon be discussed and subsequently forwarded to relevant committees. What happens after that depends on the parliamentarians’ view of the matter.
