On March 4, a new composition entitled The Isle Is Full of Noises by composer Daníel Bjarnason will be premiered at the Walt Disney Music Hall in Los Angeles.

Last night the Fram soccer team of Reykjavík defeated the Iceland football champions KR in the League Cup, 2:1.

Today, the annual book market, a book lover’s paradise, will open at the Pearl. Hundreds of books are on sale, everything from Therese Charles to the latest cookery books.

Will Iceland be the next Saudi Arabia? There is oil in the Dragon Zone, north of Iceland, the latest research published yesterday confirms.

The International Dog Show in Reykjavík will be held this weekend at Klettagarðar 6. Close to seven hundred dogs are set to participate.
