The 2013 World Championships for Icelandic Horses in Berlin officially came to an end on Sunday evening. On the last day of the tournament more than 13,000 spectators were watching the finals in the arena.

For those at home live coverage and video clips in the Icelandic and international media, including live reporting by Icelandic private television channel Stöð 2 and daily coverage by national broadcaster RÚV. Never before has the coverage of a world cup been so extensive.
Iceland proved to have the most successful team of this year’s championship. Three breeding horses achieved first place in ranking, in addition to three gold medals in the class of the adult riders and one double gold medal in the class of the young riders.
