Sigurjón also acquired the film rights to Yrsa’s Ég man þig (I Remember You) for which Ottó Geir Borg has completed the script. The book has received favorable reviews in the British press.

The adaptation of I Remember You, which will begin production late next year, will be directed by Óskar Axelsson (Black’s Game). The film is slated for a 2014 release.

According to Sigurjón, the screenplay for I Remember You was so good that he decided to try to secure the rights to Kuldi too.

Yrsa is currently on a tour of Germany.
