Reykjavík Museum of Photography Virtual Photography Exhibition

Life in pictures is a virtual photography exhibition displaying life in the centre of Reykjavik from the years 1960-1980. Literary texts, including excerpts from short stories, novels and lyrics, accompany the photographs, most of which are taken from Icelandic newspapers but exist in the museum’s collection.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Brynja Sveinsdóttir (curator) and Guðrún Jónsdóttir (who completed the virtual construction), who did the exhibition as their final project in Applied Studies in Culture and Communication at the University of Iceland and Multimedia Programme at the Technical College of Reykjavík respectively.
