Sea-ice off Greenland. Photo by PS.
The iceberg seems to be stuck in shallow water. The Icelandic Coast Guard has been monitoring the iceberg for the last few days and it appears to have come to a stop.
The iceberg can be seen clearly via radar and therefore it does not pose a threat to sea-farers, even though it rises up quite high above the surface. The iceberg will be monitored since it is evident that it will not melt quickly. Polar bears have not been spotted on the iceberg.
