Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós have announced their most extensive North American tour to date, scheduled for March and April, 2013.

The tour will include a headlining show in New York’s Madison Square Garden. The expanded brass and strings section which performed with Sigur Rós this summer will also accompany the band on the 15-show tour.
The band will perform new material made after the release of the band’s latest album Valtari (2012) and are offering a free EP of three new and previously unreleased tracks with each ticket sale.
The tour runs from March 24 to April 17.
