Leiknir’s players were ecstatic and celebrated into the night—at least that’s what employees of security firm Öryggismiðstöðin concluded when they found the cup Leiknir had won in the swimming pool Breiðholtslaug, fotbolti.net reports.
Öryggismiðstöðin’s employees wrote in an open letter to Leiknir on the company’s Facebook page: “Dear Leiknir players. Congratulations on the Reykjavík Championship title! We found your cup in Breiðholtslaug last night. You can pick it up from us.”
