The Flaming Lips to Close Iceland Airwaves

The Flaming Lips.

U.S. rock band The Flaming Lips will be closing this year’s Iceland Airwaves music festival. This is the second time that this three time Grammy winner will perform at the festival.

Fourteen years ago, the band performed in Reykjavík with the rock band Suede. Among other confirmed acts are Samaris, Just another Snake Cult, Mammút, Jungle, La Femme, Tiny Ruins and Grísalappalísa. The festival will take place November 5-9.
