50.3 percent of Icelanders would like to keep the Icelandic króna as the country’s future currency compared to 49.7 percent who would like to adopt a different currency, according to the latest poll conducted for daily Fréttablaðið and television station Stöð 2

Support for the Icelandic króna is above 50 percent only among supporters of the Independence Party, the party of Finance Minister Bjarni Benediktsson, ruv.is reports.
