Seismic Activity off Southwest Iceland

Several earthquakes of around 3.0 in magnitude occurred about 25 to 30 miles southwest of Reykjanes, Southwest Iceland, last night. The largest quake, which measured 3.5 in magnitude, occurred at around 12:30 am.

The Icelandic Met Office has not any received reports of residents in Southwest Iceland having felt the earthquake, ruv.is reports. 

Seismic activity in the area is not unusual.
