Books by Icelandic authors will be presented at the London Book Fair, which opens tomorrow in Earls Court, Wednesday, rúv.is reports. The Icelandic books will be presented in a joint Nordic section.
According to the Book Fair's web site, for the second time, the Nordic countries share a stand. The participating organizations are: the Norwegian Publishers' Association, Norwegian Literature Abroad (NORLA), Finnish Literature Exchange (FILI), the Swedish Arts Council, the Danish Arts Council, Faroese Literature (FarLit) and the Icelandic Literature Center.
Special emphasis will be placed on presenting 20 books that were published last year. The exhibition is attended by 25,000 members of the publishing industry, hailing from 60 countries.
