Website dv.is recently tasted coffee at 18 cafes in downtown Reykjavík. The reason: in March, CNN put Iceland’s capital on a list of eight of the world’s eight ‘great coffee cities.’
DV found that at ISK 350 (USD 3.00, EUR 2.25), Prikið (‘the Stick’) bar and restaurant on Bankastræti had by far the cheapest single shot latté.
The difference between the cheapest and most expensive coffee was ISK 170, almost USD 1.50 or EUR 1.
The other cities on CNN’s list are Wellington, Melbourne, Singapore, Seattle, Rome, London and the Vienna.
