Three games were played in the Icelandic Premier League in football on Sunday: in Akureyri 652 people saw Þór draw 1-1 with ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar, in Keflavík 919 spectators  saw Keflavík draw against Fjölnir from Grafarvogur (in Reykjavík) 1-1, and in Hafnarfjörður 1,167 people came to see their team FH win against Víkingur from Reykjavík 1-0.

FH Hafnarfjörður is on top of the league with 14 points after six games.

In the first division, Þróttur from Reykjavík lost 0-1 to ÍA Akranes. Þróttur was the better team and should have won the game but they played with only ten men for most of the game.
