A new report from the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime found that Icelanders consume the most cannabis in the world.

According to the report, 18.3 percent of Icelanders aged 18 to 67 consumed marijuana in 2012, visir.is reports. Of the top ten countries, only the United States, Canada and Spain have laws somewhat legalizing marijuana consumption.

Following Iceland on the list is Zambia with 17.7 percent, the U.S. with 14.8 percent, Italy and New Zealand both with 14.6 percent, Nigeria with 14.3 percent, Canada with 12.2 percent, Spain with 10.6 percent, Australia with 10.3 percent, and Jamaica with 9.86 percent.

Minister of Health Kristján Þór Júlíusson said at Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament, in February, that it was important that all options were discussed when it came to legislation on marijuana.
