Justin Timberlake’s sold out show in Kópavogur, a town just outside Reykjavík, on August 24 will be broadcast live around the world via a new website, Live Nation Channel on Yahoo Screen.

Ísleifur B. Þórhallsson, a representative of the concert organizers in Iceland, said in an interview with RÚV that it was a pleasant surprise for the concert to have been chosen for international broadcast.

From July 15, the website, which is a joint project between Yahoo and Live Nation, will live stream one concert every day of the year as well as broadcast interviews with the artists after they perform.

The concert will mark Timberlake’s first ever performance in Iceland.

Around 100 people and three to four containers of equipment will accompany the star to the country.
