International airfares from Iceland have increased by 17 percent from one year ago, according to the latest report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from Statistics Iceland.
The CPI based on prices in July 2014 is 422.1 points (May 1988=100), 0.17 percent lower than in July 2014. Meanwhile, the CPI is 2.4 percent higher in July 2014 than one year ago and the CPI less housing cost is 1.4 percent higher than one year ago.
