Icelandic footballer Gylfi Þór Sigurðsson has returned to Swansea City after signing a four-year deal following his switch from Tottenham Hotspur in the Premiere League in the U.K.
Gylfi was on loan for four months at Swansea during the 2011-12 season, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances.
Gylfi said in an interview with swanseacity.net that he was pleased to be back. “It’s fantastic for me. I really enjoyed the last time I was here, so it’s good to be back,” he said, adding, “I really enjoyed my time at Spurs. It was tough leaving a club that I’ve enjoyed playing for over the last few years, but as soon as Swansea came in it was an easy decision to make.”
