Highland Roads Closed Due to Possible Flood

Due to another possible volcanic eruption, a large area north of Vatnajökull glacier has been closed, ruv.is reports. Roads to Askja and Kverkfjöll as well as the Gæsavatnaleið route are among the roads to be closed.

The area is also closed to hikers.
