The Reykjavík Metropolitan Police were called to a store on Seljavegur earlier this week in response to a report of peculiar behavior of a young man. The man, who was only wearing pants and socks, had lain down to sleep in the store.

The police officers at the scene were quick to realize that the man was intoxicated and brought him to the police car, where instead of continuing his nap, the man began to converse with the car seat, proceeding to fidget, scream and use the safety belt as a phone, ruv.is reports.

The man had certain ideas as to where he would like to be chauffeured but the police officers took him straight to a prison cell instead to have him sleep off his intoxication.
