Icelandic striker Eiður Smári Guðjohnsen has been offered a new contract by Bolton Wanderers at the end of the season.
Eiður, who is 36 years old, joined the team in December 2014 and has performed well, having scored six goals this winter and has created many chances for his teammates, ruv.is reports.
Bolton manager Neil Lennon told SkySports that he had performed well and had earned a new contract.
Eiður suggested in an interview last year that he had played his last game for the Icelandic national team. However, he was brought back and scored against Kazakhstan.
