The last few days have seen sun and clear skies in most parts of Iceland—and the good weather is set to continue through this week.

Temperatures remain cool, ranging from -11ºC to 6ºC (12.2ºF to 42.8ºF) today. Light northeasterly wind of 3 to 10 m/s exists in many parts of the country, and 8 to 15 m/s in the southeast and east until evening.

Despite the cool temperatures, people are reminded of the importance of using sun protection at this time of the year due to the UV index being around or higher than 3.

Follow weather updates on vedur.is and the UV level at uv.gr.is.
