Iceland is the special guest of honor at the Warsaw Festival of Art Photography in Poland.
The festival began at the weekend and features contemporary photographs and photographers from all over the world—this year including ten Icelandic photographers taking part in six different exhibitions around the city.
The Icelandic Contemporary Photography Association has sent five representatives to Warsaw because of the festival, which runs for a month, until June 15.
The Icelandic exhibitions are called: Relooking – Icelandic Landscape Photography, Young Icelandic Photography, Imported Landscape, and Equivocal.
As well as this, Icelandic photographer Spessi is showing his collection shot on Fogo Island in Canada, called Food, People and Post-Office, and Bjargey Ólafsdóttir is exhibiting her portraits.
