Tulipop, a line of children’s products designed by Signý Kolbeinsdóttir and Helga Árnadóttir, was awarded the ‘Best Newcomer’ award in its category at the prestigious Smallish Design Awards.

The awards are run by British luxury parenting magazine Smallish, which “features a glossy edit of fashion, lifestyle, travel, toys and books for intelligent, design-conscious parents nationwide.”

Tulipop has experienced great success since it’s launch in 2010 and won several design awards, both in Iceland and abroad.

A few years ago the company then paired up with bank MP Banki to produce a piggy bank for children under the name Mosi—with the proceeds of its sale going entirely to UNICEF’s Icelandic fund.
