It’s time to get out your winter jacket, gloves and mittens, for the outlook for Sunday night is super cold by Icelandic standards, according to the Icelandic Met Office. Even in the southwest corner of the country, which rarely experiences such cold, temperatures are expected to dip down to -10°C (14°F). The north and the east will be even colder, or between -12°C and -14°C (between 10 and 7°F). Snow and windy conditions are forecast in the north Saturday night.

As you can see above, the map looks blue. The question is whether that, too, is a prediction of how we’ll be feeling Sunday night.
