Overnight Stays up by 36 Percent

The number of overnight stays at Icelandic hotels in December last year increased by 36 percent compared with December of 2014, from 133,300 to 181,900, according to Statistics Iceland.

Iceland Number One in Internet Access

According to the report Digital in 2016, published by the UK-based company We Are Social, Iceland ranks first among nations with populations of 50,000 or more in terms of internet penetration, or 98 percent.
