The British rock band Radiohead will be the main attraction of the Secret Solstice music festival in Laugardalur, Reykjavík, June 17-19. This will be the first time the band performs in Iceland.
Radiohead was formed in 1985 and released its first single, Creep, in 1992. The debut album, Pablo Honey, came out in 1993. Their album In Rainbows, received a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.
The band’s five members are singer Thom Yorke, guitar and keyboard player Jonny Greenwood, bass player Colin Greenwood, guitar player Ed O’Brian and drummer Philip Selway.
Altogether, 93 bands and artists have announced their participation in Secret Solstice, including Of Monsters and Men, Afrika Bambaataa, Kelela, Róisín Murphy, Action Bronson, Deftones and Skream.
