How much are you willing to sweat to save GBP 45 (ISK 8,000, USD 65, EUR 57)? Matt Botten, a 32-year-old Cardiff resident, proved Monday that he’s ready to perspire a lot to avoid paying that amount.

He was checking into a flight to Iceland from Gatwick Airport with EasyJet when he made the decision, according to the Daily Mail. Instead of paying GBP 45 for extra baggage, he decided to sweat it out.

He quickly ripped all the clothes out of his suitcase and put them on. The outfit for the journey included several pairs of jumpers and trousers, a number of T-shirts, and a pair of shoes in his pockets. All it cost him was a long list of questions he had to answer before being allowed to board.

Lucky for him, he received a cold reception from the weather gods in Iceland, who greeted him with unseasonably cold temperatures, making him thankful for every piece of garment he had brought along.
