The US reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her husband, hip hop artist Kanye West, arrived in Iceland yesterday. Kardashian’s sister Kourtney accompanied them, as did Jonathan Cheban, Kim’s best friend, in addition to their body guards, mbl.is reports. Kourtney celebrates her 37th birthday today. They flew in by Icelandair from New York and plan to stay here through April 20. The purpose of the trip is to shoot a music video for a song on West’s newly released album, The Life of Pablo. US Magazine reports that portions of the trip will be filmed for an upcoming season of Keeping up with the Kardashians.
Yesterday, Kardashian visited Friðheimar í Reykholti, a South Iceland tomato farm, where she admired tomatoes and bees. She then stopped by Gullfoss waterfall and reportedly found it lovely.
