The Reykjavík Pride Parade will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at 2 pm, starting at the BSÍ bus terminal. The parade will go past Reykjavík Pond to its final destination at Arnarhóll. As a result, numerous streets will be closed tomorrow afternoon, as indicated on the map above. The yellow line shows the parade route, while streets marked in red are adjacent ones that will be closed.
The parade draws tens of thousands of people every year, and participants are encouraged to use public transportation tomorrow, ride their bikes, or walk downtown.
City authorities expect a large attendance. The weather forecast couldn’t be better: it calls for partly cloudy skies, 16 degrees Celsius (61 degrees F), and calm northeasterly winds.
