Icelanders are pleased with the performance of their president, according to a new poll by MMR, where 68.6 percent of respondents said they were happy with his work in office. Only 6.4 percent said they were unhappy with his work.
Not since MMR began conducting polls in March of 2011 have Icelanders been as pleased with the performance of their president.
There were 949 respondents in the poll, all of them 18 and older. The study was conducted August 22-29.
