Support for Independents and Bright Future Down

A new poll, conducted by MMR January 3-10, shows the Independence Party enjoying 26.1 percent support, which is down from 29.3 percent in the last poll, completed on December 26. The second largest party, the poll shows, is the Left-Green Movement with 24.3 percent support, up from 20.7 percent in the last poll.

The Pirate Party is supported by 14.6 percent of voters, the poll reveals, which is up from 12.7 in December.

Support for the Progressive Party is now 10.9 percent, compared with 10.2 percent in the last poll.

The Reform Party receives 6.9 percent support, compared with 7 percent in December.

The Social Democratic Alliance gets 6.4 percent of voter support, down from 6.9 percent in December.

Support for Bright Future is down; it’s now 6.3 percent, but was 9.1 percent in December.

Other political parties combined enjoy 4.5 percent support.

Respondents were 954, all 18 years of age or older.
