Earthquake by Grimsey Island

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was detected northeast of Grimsey island, North Iceland at 6:00 this morning, reports the Icelandic Met Office.

According to Vísir, the quake is part of a swarm of over 50 earthquakes that began two nights ago, and is the only one that measured over magnitude 3. The earthquakes are nothing out of the ordinary.
