One Loss, One Draw for Iceland in Handball

The Icelandic national team in men’s handball played two games at the World Men’s Handball Championship in Metz, France, last weekend. Both games were even and exciting throughout. Iceland lost the first, against Slovenia on Saturday, by one goal, and tied Tunisia yesterday.

Iceland Loses against Spain in Handball

Iceland lost its first game in the World Men’s Handball Championship in France yesterday, 27-21 against Spain in Group B. Iceland performed well in the first half, leading by two goals at half time, 12-10. However, Spain struck back in the second half, defeating Iceland.

Iceland Ties France in Handball World Cup

The Icelandic national team in men’s handball achieved a draw, 26-26, against France in the third round of games in qualifying group C in the World Cup in Qatar tonight. In qualifying group D two Icelandic coaches also tied with a score of 30-30.
