How do you possibly wake up in the morning when it's so damn dark in winter?

Good question, and one we get often. Actually, our bodies are producing more melatonin during the dark days, which is a hormone generated by the human body that encourages more sleep. But with 20 hours of darkness right now, we overdose on the stuff. Ok, to answer your question, we usually just fuel our slow wake-up process with a couple extra cups of coffee every morning.
