Volcanic Wonderland

Norðurflug’s most popular tour is the Geothermal Tour, which takes you across geothermal hot springs, colorful mountain ranges, steaming power plants, moss-covered lava fields and hollow craters—all within an hour!

Iceland’s subterranean energy becomes vividly clear from the air while flying across the diverse volcanic landscapes. The helicopters land far away from the crowds to make a brief stop, allowing the passengers to witness the raw, primeval energy rising up from the earth beneath their feat.

The tour concludes with a flyover of Reykjavík, providing an aerial overview of the city.
