My wife and I have been planning a trip from the U.S. to Iceland this August and during our research we have learned that a cab from airport to Reykjavik would cost $100, hotels are three star but priced at 5 star rates, and a piece of cake costs $10. Plus, there is a good chance a volcano will erupt. Naturally, all these negatives are capped off with your head of tourism telling the locals not to be shy to charge tourists more.

Wow, I've been around the world and arrogance like that is rare. As you might of surmised we have change our plans for August, NORWAY HERE WE COME! Free advise- Iceland, less attitude and more gratitude, tourist dollars go along way during long winters.
