Mike Moumousis calls himself a 'tourist', I call him ill-informed. But hey Mike, by going to Norway you are going to the third most expensive country for hotel and restaurant prices in the world (Iceland is seventh). I hope you can afford it. We have been traveling to Iceland regularly for 15 years and can honestly say I've never encountered 'arrogance' in any Icelander I've met and, by careful budgeting, can stay for two weeks with rental car, hotels and flights included, for around GBP 3,000 (for two persons). That's around USD 120 a day per person all-in. If you can't afford that you should stay at home.
