And if you want some fun take ob-la-di-bla-da

So wrote John Lennon and Paul McCartney... about the government of Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson.

A government which rules by the motto of ob-la-di-bla-da.

The PM, according to weekly Akureyri Vikublað today, has handed his constituency, in Northeast Iceland, ISK 97 million (USD 860,000, EUR 625,000) for pet projects in his constituency - like ISK 2 million to an enthusiast’s club to restore a sheep pen in Neskaupstaður - out of a total of ISK 205 million for cultural preservation since Sigmundur took office last summer.   No one in the town council asked for the money.

And the enthusiast’s club, which received the ISK 2 million, is unregistered. Does it exist?

ob-la-di-bla-da.

A nice Christmas gift.
