The PM Strikes Again (PS)

Readers of the website were asked over the weekend to give politicians points according to how good they perceive them to have been.

Ten was the highest score.

At the bottom were two Progressive Party ministers, Foreign Minister Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson with 2.1 points and Prime Minister Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson with just 1.9 points. And this in a poll on, which is positive towards the Progressive Party.

Over the weekend Sigmundur Davíð made yet another blunder, commenting on the upcoming strikes and wage depute: if the unions manage to get salaries raised more than the Central Bank thinks is feasible, the government will raise taxes.

Trade unions were speechless at the comments.

What next?
