With just one eye at first, I watched a documentary on TV a few nights ago about how over 20.000 Jews, who were freed from Nazi concentration camps in 1945, were granted asylum in Sweden. Great gesture.

And now, Sweden, along with Germany, has been at the forefront in taking in refugees from Syria.

Was down at the Syrian border last week, and the situation is much much worse now than it was last year. People have lost hope for the future.

This is the world’s biggest humanitarian crisis since 1945.

Iceland, and for that matter the whole of Europe, should take Sweden as an example of what can and should be done.

To help these poor people.
